At Quick Track GPS, we value your privacy as much as your security. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the Quick Track GPS tracker and mobile application.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

To provide accurate tracking services, we collect the following types of information:

  • Personal Information: Name, phone number, email address, and billing details (VAT/PAN if applicable) provided during registration.

  • Location Data: Precise real-time GPS coordinates, speed, travel history, and "engine on/off" status of the vehicle where the Quick Track GPS hardware is installed.

  • Device Information: Mobile device ID, IP address, operating system, and app usage statistics to ensure secure session management.

  • SIM Data: Usage logs associated with the provided Quick Track GPS SIM card.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your information strictly for the following purposes:

  • Service Delivery: Providing real-time tracking, anti-theft alerts, and geofencing.

  • Safety: Sending emergency notifications to your designated contacts.

  • Customer Support: Responding to your queries and troubleshooting hardware issues.

  • Legal Compliance: Complying with the laws of Nepal, including requests from authorized law enforcement agencies.

3. DATA SHARING & DISCLOSURE

  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal or location data to third-party advertisers.

  • Legal Mandates: We may disclose your location data to the Nepal Police or other authorized government bodies only when required by a valid court order or under the Privacy Act, 2075.

  • Service Providers: We may share data with trusted technical partners (e.g., cloud storage or SMS gateway providers) who are contractually bound to keep your data confidential.

4. DATA SECURITY & STORAGE

  • Local Compliance: In accordance with Nepal's digital regulations, we implement industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect data during transmission.

  • Retention: We retain your location history for a period of [e.g., 90 days] unless a longer period is required for legal purposes or requested by you. Once you terminate your account, we take steps to anonymize or delete your records within 30 days.

5. YOUR RIGHTS UNDER NEPALESE LAW

Under the Individual Privacy Act, 2075, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correction: Request the update of inaccurate or outdated information.

  • Withdrawal: Withdraw your consent for tracking by uninstalling the app and deactivating the device (note: this will terminate the service).

6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Quick Track GPS does not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18. If we discover that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately from our servers.
